THEATRICAL KNIGHTS

A twisting thriller

by Ben Henderson

One set over two acts

A Saturday afternoon in December 2015, the converted stable building of a Victorian house in Primrose Hill, the den of Sir Tom Seymour.

Seymour was a screenwriter and playwright. Once a household name, his star has waned in recent years. Life and aqua vitae haven't changed him for the best. He's as waspish as he is irascible.

Sir Anthony Randolph is a hugely popular, perennial Hollywood actor. He's hail-fellow-well-met. These are our eponymous theatrical knights. They bicker and spar as only the dearest of friends may. These two old stagers have shaken hands on a £10 bet. What is that bet? How will it be decided? What are the rules? Who will follow them? To what lengths will they go in their disturbing game of brinkmanship? Join them as they try to settle the matter, in this sometimes funny, sometimes unsettling, twisting thriller.

Theatrical Knights is a redemption story; employing disguises, props, stage effects, the suggestion of trap doors, in fact, all things theatrical, to take the audience to a satisfying conclusion.
