A play in two acts set against the music of the Second World War. The large cast of adults and children make this an ideal community play or with a smaller cast it is possible to double many of the parts. The plot follows the fortunes of an East End family, the Browns, the older boys going off to war while the younger children join their school friends when they are evacuated to rural Somerset.
