The story takes place in the 1990s when a local pastor of a small church received an urgent phone call from an inmate on death row in Delaware.

It is recommended to run the play without an interval in order to keep the suspense.

Kyrone Williams: He is an African American male from Ridgely, Delaware. He is in his early to middle forties, waiting on death row in Delaware Corrections Center, convicted of first-degree
murder.

Jack Blair: He is a white male in his early to middle forties from Ridgely Delaware and is a classmate and friend of Kyrone Williams from high school. He is serving 5-7 years in the same
prison for burglary and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Prison Guard: He is a white male in his early to mid-thirties.
