Secretly devoted to the luminous Roxane, Cyrano instead lends his eloquence to the handsome but tongue-tied Christian, helping him woo her through letters of breathtaking beauty.
As war looms and passions deepen, Cyrano hides his own heart behind bravado and wordplay, sacrificing personal happiness for friendship and honour. Roxane falls in love with the soul she reads in the letters, never knowing whose voice truly speaks.
