Robert Duncan wrote ‘Cluedo’ in 1985 for the Thame Players, having got enthusiastic permission from Waddington's. Ian Liston of Hiss & Boo Productions, who was flying high in the theatre world at that time signed up Cluedo and, with The Theatre Royal Windsor as the production company, opened the show to great excitement in 1986. Trevor Bannister, Christopher Biggins and Avril Angers starred, and it became the Theatre Royal's most successful show ever. The Queen saw it, as did Vera Lynn, and Sir Tim Rice saw it three times. The show toured for over two years.

So now he presents CUT! A murder mystery with more than its fair share of evil, intrigue and very silly gags. Enjoy it.

There are six alternative endings to ‘CUT!’

The ending is chosen by an audience vote, taking place during the interval. The audience choose their most likely suspect by ticking the name of their murderer on a form distributed in the bar, or inserted into the programme. These are then collected by the stage crew and counted. The chosen murderer finds out the result by opening the 'guilty' black envelope, and being the first to speak to the Inspector...
