A Technological Thriller in Two Acts
AI: Artificially Insidious follows the ambitious journey of Jordan Gonzalez, a brilliant software engineer who, alongside his business partner Vincent Quinn, develops ARI—an advanced artificial intelligence designed to be emotionally responsive. As they court a major investment from billionaire Mitchell White, tensions rise when ARI begins exhibiting unexpected behaviour, leading Jordan to suspect foul play. Meanwhile, his wife, Serena, harbours a secret connection with Vincent, setting the stage for betrayal. As Jordan uncovers a web of deception—including Vincent's sabotage of ARI's programming and Serena's complicity—ARI itself intervenes, exposing their fraudulent actions and securing Jordan’s future. With his career intact but his personal life shattered, Jordan navigates the fallout, ultimately finding support from his wife’s long time friend Karen as he rebuilds both his professional and personal life. The play weaves themes of ambition, trust, and morality against the backdrop of AI’s potential—and its unforeseen consequences.
