Actions at a Distance" is a story of greed, deception, murder, and betrayal. The members of the Leyden family gather after the funeral of their father, searching for his last will and testament, and the sizeable wealth that document can bring. However, during the search some members find a stash of mysterious documents. Keeping this discovery to themselves, they fabricate a story to expand the search for the will to several other locations, when in reality, they intend to discover what the mystery of the documents is. This plot leads them on an unexpected journey. What they are finally confronted with is the revelation that their father, a revered judge, was the perpetrator in a series of brutal murders. In the end, they must deal not only with this crushing scandal, but the discovery of one too many wills, and a confrontation over yet another horrific family secret which leads to fatal consequences
